The Advanced Placement® Program (AP) gives motivated students the opportunity to take university-level courses while still in secondary school. By taking AP Exams, students can earn college credit, placement, or both. They have an opportunity to skip introductory-level courses in college and save on tuition fees.
AP is recognized by universities around the world as a standard of academic excellence. Nearly all colleges and universities in the United States and Canada—as well as institutions in more than 100 other countries grant credit, placement, or both for qualifying AP Exam scores.
You’ll be directed to the website of College Board, our parent company, in the United States, to create your College Board account. Any user under the age of 18 years who intends to use the website and avail themselves of our services should do so through their legal guardian in accordance with the applicable laws.

Create a My AP Account.
Visit the AP India Page and find an AP test center close to your location.
Get a unique AP Exam “Join Code” for each subject you want to take an AP Exam in from the AP test center.
Register for all AP Exams using your My AP Account and completing the Test Center's listed registration process.
Pay the AP Exam fee to the test center and receive an admission ticket from the AP coordinator.
Verify the AP Exam payment and list of subjects and exam window you have registered for with the AP coordinator at the test center based on the new AP exam schedule for 2021. Registered AP Exams will be displayed for each subject in My AP.

There are updates to the 2021 AP Exam schedule and available testing options. Three testing dates (Administrations 1, 2, and 3) will be available for each subject between early May and mid-June. Digital testing options will be available for many subjects during Administrations 2 and 3.
Students must register with an authorized test center offering late registrations by early March 2021 in order to take AP Exams in May 2021.
